It’s that time of the year… time to do your holiday baking, cooking for parties, potlucks, and family celebrations! Did you know that this is also the time of year that ovens and ranges often fail? That’s why we suggest scheduling regular oven and range maintenance before the holidays are in full swing. It’ll save you the time, stress and cost of dealing with problems that can crop up while you are in the middle of cooking an important holiday meal.

If you’ve noticed that your oven seems to be too hot or not reaching the proper temperature – you need to have it looked at immediately. We also recommend a full “check-up” annually, just to keep your oven in top working order. For every maintenance call, we do the following:

• Check to make sure the temperature is within the manufacture’s specification
• Ensure your burners are working properly
• Clean your burners, if needed
• Ensure that the oven is turning on
• Check to be sure there are no gas leaks
